The Asia Foundation Earns Top Rating for Fiscal Management
San Francisco, January 17, 2006 — The Asia Foundation received its third consecutive four-star rating for sound fiscal management from Charity Navigator, an independent nonprofit organization that evaluates the financial health of charities. The four-star rating, out of four stars, was given in the International Peace, Security, and Affairs Category.
The Asia Foundation received a rating of 61.82 out of 70 based on our organizational efficiency and capacity, including fundraising, programming expenses, administrative expenses, efficiency, and growth. Less than 12% of the charities rated by Charity Navigator have received 4-star ratings three or more consecutive years.
