The Asia Foundation Looks to Expand Important Anti-Trafficking in Persons Web Portal

San Francisco, March 8, 2006 — International Women’s Day – Last year, The Asia Foundation launched the first Asia-regional, multilingual anti-trafficking web portal to help fight against the trafficking and exploitation of humans. TIPinAsia.info (www.tipinasia.info) allows for shared information and improved collaboration between governmental and non-governmental anti-trafficking organizations. The website’s tools help prevent trafficking, protect victims, and bring traffickers to justice.

The Asia Foundation is committed to expanding TIPinAsia.info to more countries in Asia and needs your help. Donate now to our Women’s Advancement Fund. Or learn more about the Women’s Advancement Fund.
