Asia Foundation Fellow Discusses Nepal Situation on PBS’ Foreign Exchange
May 15, 2006 — Deepak Thapa, the first recipient of The Asia Foundation’s William P. Fuller Fellowship in Conflict Resolution, recently appeared on the PBS program “Foreign Exchange” to discuss the recent political turmoil in Nepal. Thapa is considered one of the foremost authorities on the Maoist insurgency in Nepal, and as the Fuller Fellow, came to the U.S. to study theoretical and applied approaches to conflict management and resolution.
