Ambassador Luis CdeBaca and Nandita Baruah Examine Human Trafficking in Asia

November 3, 2010 — On November 1, 2010, The Asia Foundation held an event in Washington D.C., “Combating Human Trafficking in Asia: From Policy to Practice.” The event featured Ambassador Luis CdeBaca, Ambassador-at-Large at the U.S. Department of State’s Office to Monitor and Combat Trafficking in Persons, and Nandita Baruah, Chief of Party of The Asia Foundation’s Counter Trafficking in Persons program in Cambodia. Ambassador CdeBaca commended TAF’s anti-trafficking programs, particularly in Cambodia.
