Thai Citizens Favor Decentralization to end Conflicts in Deep South

December 16, 2010 — An article in The Global Herald (U.K.) features The Asia Foundation’s Democracy and Conflict in Southern Thailand: A Survey of the Thai Electorate in Yala, Narathiwas, and Pattani. According to the survey, both Thai citizens nationally and those in the deep South regions are in favor of decentralization as a means to end the conflicts in the region.
