Books for Asia Donates Educational Books to Zamboanga Elementary Schools

January 18, 2011 — An article in The Mindanao Examiner (Philippines) highlights The Asia Foundation’s Books for Asia program distributing 5,000 news books to 85 public elementary schools in Zamboanga City. The Asia Foundation’s Ky Johnson attended the launch event and is quoted as saying, “This is a great occasion as we make books available for children – indigenous, Christian, and Muslim – in various parts of the Philippines.
