Demand for Good Governance Project Promotes Cambodian Citizens’ Participation

January 31, 2011 — An article in The South East Asia Weekly (Cambodia) discusses the 2nd Annual Demand for Good Governance Project Forum, held in Phnom Penh on January 27. The government has established the Demand for Good Governance Project, which helped to increase citizens’ access to government information. The Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Information, Ministry of National Assembly-Senate Relations and Inspection, Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training, The Asia Foundation, and other non-government organizations implemented the project.
