How to Advance Gender Equality in 2016 and Beyond

On March 7, The Asia Foundation, in partnership with USAID, World Vision, Knowledge for Health (K4Health), Chemonics, USAID Assist, and Promundo, is holding an online Twitter conversation to celebrate International Women’s Day, titled “How to Advance Gender Equality in 2016 and Beyond.” Join leading government, NGO, and private sector development and health experts in a conversation to reflect on progress made to advance women’s rights and gender equality, gaps that remain, and what it will take to empower women in 2016 and beyond.

Follow the hashtag #IWDchat16 to join the conversation.

The event garnered significant engagement on social media: more than 500 people participated directly in the day-long tweetchat, and the tweetchat reached an estimated 4.1 million people.
