Srijana Chettri is a former Program Manager in the Nepal office. She has worked on issues related to social justice, gender equity, and gender violence since 2000. She has worked with families of children with developmental delays and disabilities in Philadelphia. She also co-directed survivor support services at the Advocates Program of the Asian/Pacific Islander Domestic Violence Resource Project in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. There she worked on ensuring that survivors were able to access culturally-appropriate and linguistically-responsive services through bilingual community members trained at a semi-annual 52 hour Advocates Training.

Chettri has experience in innovative curricula development and implementation on various topics within an anti-oppression and social justice framework, and is an experienced trainer and multilingual group facilitator on topics related to violence against women, gender, and reproductive and sexual health. She has effectively worked with individuals and groups of varying ages, sexual orientation, socioeconomic, educational and cultural backgrounds, including those with disabilities and limited English proficiency, through professional and volunteer work.

In addition to supporting in the development and management of various grants for the Nepal office, Chettri is also the Field Advisor for Give2Asia in Nepal.

Education: Srijana Chettri holds a master's degree in International Development from the School of International Service, American University and a bachelor's degree in Sociology from Bryn Mawr College.
