Former Member of the President's Leadership Council of The Asia Foundation

Nicholas Unkovic is a retired corporate lawyer who represented Asian companies in investment, strategic partnership and acquisition transactions as a partner of Squire Patton Boggs (US) LLP. He formerly served as chair of The Asia Foundation’s President’s Leadership Council. Unkovic has also served as a trustee of the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco, where he chaired the Audit Committee; as chair, president and director of the British American Business Council of Northern California; as a secretary and director of the California Council for International Trade; as a director of the International Bankers Association of California; chair of the Stonestown Family YMCA; and as a director of The Bank of San Francisco and its holding company, where he chaired the Audit Committee. His wife Elizabeth and he have three children and four grandchildren who keep them busy.
