Co-Founder and Chairman of the Executive Committee
Scott Cook rotated off of the Board of Trustees in 2013. Mr. Cook co-founded Intuit Inc. and now serves as the chairman of the Executive Committee . He is also the company’s former president and chief executive officer. Originally a brand manager at Procter & Gamble, Mr. Cook later managed consulting assignments at Bain & Company before founding Intuit in 1983 and creating the Quicken personal finance software. He subsequently helped guide the growth of Intuit to produce industry standards such as TurboTax and QuickBooks. Mr. Cook is also a member of the board of directors of eBay, Procter & Gamble, the Harvard Business School Dean’s Advisory Board and the Intuit Scholarship Foundation. He earned an MBA from Harvard University and a bachelor’s degree in economics and mathematics from the University of Southern California, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
