Bangladesh - Community Oriented Policing Conference

The Community Oriented Policing Conference in Dhaka, Bangladesh brought together 26 participants representing national police forces, university research centers, non-government organizations, local chambers of commerce, and Asia Foundation program staff from Cambodia, Mongolia, Sri Lanka, Timor-Leste, Bangladesh, Indonesia, and the Philippines to share the model of community-oriented policing, first introduced by the Foundation in Indonesia in 2001.
