New Book Examines Local Economic Governance in Asia

The global financial crisis that shocked both East and West has left economic managers and political leaders “distressed and fearful” for the first time since the Great Depression –so begins a brand new book from The Asia Foundation’s economic team, Innovations in Strengthening Local Economic Governance in Asia. It provides cutting-edge insights from on the ground in Asia and will be released at the end of May.
