Transparency International’s 2013 Global Corruption Barometer

Transparency International’s 2013 Global Corruption Barometer, the biggest survey tracking public opinion on corruption, revealed that over half of the 114,000 people surveyed in 107 countries believe the level of corruption has increased over the past two years. In India, for example, as many as 86% of people believe political parties are corrupt. At the same time the survey reveals that two out of three of those polled say ordinary people can make a difference in curbing corruption.
