Portraits of Leadership: Sohn Bong-Scuk, Korea
Dr. Sohn Bong-Scuk was drawn to politics at an early age. She founded the Center for Korean Women and Politics which trains women to run for local and national office. Recently, Dr. Sohn herself became a member of the Korean National Assembly, breaking through the glass ceiling of national level politics traditionally dominated by men and becoming a role model for young women.
