2010 National Thailand Survey Analyzes Thai Political Attitudes

March 29, 2011 — An article in Bangkok Post (Thailand) features The Asia Foundation’s 2010 National Survey of the Thai Electorate: Exploring National Consensus and Color Polarization and focuses on how the “majority of Thai people do not support either the yellow shirt or red shirt movements.” The former Asia Foundation representative in Thailand and survey lead analyst, James Klein, is quoted as saying “the respondents also believed the PAD and UDD both suffered from internal divisions and were not convinced the groups’ stated objectives were the same as their actual motives.” Read the full article: “Majority of Thais ‘don’t back reds or yellows’.”
