Asia Foundation’s 2010 National Thailand Poll Examines the Political Divide

March 29, 2011 — An article in The Nation (Thailand) features the release of The Asia Foundation’s 2010 National Survey of the Thai Electorate: Exploring National Consensus and Color Polarization, including highlights of the report’s key findings on color politics, “only 12 per cent identified themselves as red or yellow shirts, while 12 per cent were slightly leaning towards one camp or the other” and democracy “like the previous year, 93 per cent of the respondents in the 2010 survey agreed that democracy was the best form of government.” Read the full article: “Political divide not huge: Poll.”
