Reuters: Leo Sudaryono Discusses Indonesian Prison Reform

August 17, 2011 — An article in Reuters’ TrustLaw features August 10 In Asia piece, “Reform at the Doorstep of Prisons in Indonesia,” written by Leo Sudaryono. Sudaryono explains how problems in Indonesia’s prisons include overcrowding and lack of coordination among justice-sector agencies. “The conditions for Indonesia’s 134,000 inmates may not have changed dramatically in the past three years, but a stronger foundation for better prison management is now in place,” notes Sudaryono.
