Bolormaa Purevjav left the Foundation in 2016.
Bolormaa Purevjav was formerly The Asia Foundation’s Mongolia Environment Program Director. She has worked in development projects for the government, UNDP, and SDC in areas of human development, poverty reduction, gender, natural resources management, community development, institutional strengthening, stakeholders engagement and governance.
Ms. Purevjav has expertise in community consultation and management; specifically community participation in decision making processes, facilitation of partnership and cooperation of different stakeholders, developing programs on community strengthening and empowerment, and building local community capacity to help them transform into strong organizations. She speaks English, Russian, Czech, and Mongolian.
Education: Master’s degree in Business Administration, Griffith University, Australia; Engineer: Economics and Manufacturing Management, Technical University of Brno, Czech Republic.
