Carol Rattray is Managing Director and Co-Founder of Zoomdojo LLC, a tech startup based in New York City that provides career advisory resources. Since 1994, Carol has been investing in and advising start-ups in China and the US. From 1991-1993, she was Managing Director in the Tokyo office of The Whitney Group and from 1981-1989 she was Vice President in the Capital Markets Group at Bankers Trust Company in New York. In 1999, Carol along with her husband Tim founded the Rattray Kimura Foundation, which they continue to jointly manage.

In addition in philanthropy, she is currently a Member of the Board of Trustees of Bates College (Honorary Degrees Committee Chair), The Asian Cultural Council (Audit Committee Chair), and the Re Foundation (founded by Oscar-winning composer and conductor, Tan Dun). Carol also serves as a member of the Cornell University College of Arts and Sciences Dean’s Advisory Council. She is a former Member of the Board of Trustees of The Nature Conservancy, New York State (Finance and Sustainability Committee Chair) and Orpheus Chamber Orchestra (Development Committee Chair). Carol received a BA from Cornell University in 1978 and an MIA and MBA from Columbia University in 1980 and 1981, respectively.
