The Asia Foundation opened a resident office in New Delhi in 2009, where it has focused on supporting India’s engagement in regional and global affairs, improving urban governance, and promoting women’s security. The India office serves as a focal point for the Foundation’s regional programs in South Asia and fosters the participation of Indian experts and institutions in South Asian development.
