2014 Asia Foundation Development Forum

On September 18, The Asia Foundation hosted its “2014 Asia Foundation Development Forum: Challenges and Voices for Asia’s Future,” a unique opportunity in San Francisco to learn from leading development practitioners and next-generation Asian leaders invested in the region’s social and economic development challenges. The forum featured a dynamic group of young changemakers from the Foundation’s inaugural 2014 class of Asia Foundation Development Fellows, selected from a highly competitive pool of over 600 applicants. This year, as the Foundation marks its 60 years in Asia, the nonprofit continues its decades-long support of emerging development leaders. Conducted in Singapore, Philippines, Washington, D.C., and San Francisco, the 2014 program draws on The Asia Foundation’s extensive 18-country network and deep expertise working with innovative leaders and communities across the region.
