Author, Virginia La Torre Jeker, Donates Her Books to Sri Lanka

October 7, 2010 — An article in Gulf News focuses on Virginia La Toree Jeker, a children’s author, who worked with Books for Asia to send her “Benji Explores” books to underprivileged children in Sri Lanka. The article discusses last year’s Books for Asia contest asking audiences to vote for their favorite book to send abroad. After reading about the contest, Virginia contacted the director of Books for Asia to donate her books to the cause.
