More Diplomacy Needed Before U.S. Resumes North Korea Aid

May 24, 2011 — An article in The Korea Times discusses Ambassador Robert King’s visit to North Korea where he is evaluating North Korea’s request for food aid. Scott Snyder explains why more diplomacy is needed before any resumption of assistance takes place. Snyder is quoted as saying “There will be a need to make sure that both governments have the same position.
