The Asia Foundation Hosts NATO Parliamentary Assembly Delegation

San Francisco, July 18, 2012 — The Asia Foundation on July 13 hosted the NATO Parliamentary Assembly Delegation in its San Francisco headquarters. The NATO Parliamentary Assembly is a specialized forum for members of parliament from across the Atlantic Alliance to discuss and influence decisions on Alliance security. The one-day program provided an opportunity for the 40-person delegation of members of parliament and staff to hear about political, economic, and security-related issues in Afghanistan, Pakistan, and China. Drawing on nearly 60 years of experience in the region, the Foundation maintains 17 offices throughout Asia, including in these three countries.
