Asia Foundation Hosts Asian Perspectives Event in Washington, D.C.

ASEAN-EmblemAs Brunei prepares to host the East Asia Summit on Oct. 8-9, The Asia Foundation brought leading experts to Washington, D.C., on Sept. 17 for a panel discussion on the prospects and challenges facing the region, and ASEAN’s goal toward regional integration by 2015. Part of the Foundation’s “Asian Perspectives” series, the event featured panelists from Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, China, and Australia.
