Asia Foundation, Ulaanbaatar City Host Mapping Event
October 24, 2014
On Oct. 25, The Asia Foundation and the City Municipality of Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, host a mapping “edit-a-thon” to bring together experienced map editors and newcomers to learn how to use aerial imagery and open source tools like OpenStreetMap to develop a more complete and accurate, open, online, free map of Ulaanbaatar. Much of the city has yet to be officially mapped. Read more about how the project is helping city officials improve service delivery to UB citizens.
