Myanmar Diplomats Arrive in San Francisco

July 22, 2015

MMDiplomatsTwo officers of Myanmar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs arrive in San Francisco this week as part of a summer study tour sponsored by The Asia Foundation. Following programs in Washington, DC, earlier this month on globalization, U.S. foreign policy, and IT, Deputy Directors General Win Myint and Kyaw Zeya will visit Silicon Valley to meet with Facebook, attend a seminar on IT and public policy at U.C. Berkeley and meet with the San Francisco Mayor’s office and The Asia Foundation’s global communications team. This is the third year of the Foundation’s program for diplomats from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a key partner in our renewed presence in Myanmar.
