Asia Foundation Vice President Nancy Yuan Attends Luncheon Honoring Vice-Premier Wang Yang

November 23, 2016 — This week, The Asia Foundation’s Vice President and Director Nancy Yuan attended a luncheon honoring China’s Vice-Premier Wang Yang in Washington, DC. Vice-Premier Wang spoke to an audience of leaders from the private and public sectors. The luncheon was hosted by the China General Chamber of Commerce-USA.

Vice-Premier Wang led a Chinese delegation to the United States for the 27th session of the China-US Joint Commission on Commerce and Trade and met with top U.S. officials to talk about all aspects of the trade relationship between the U.S. and China.

For more than 30 years The Asia Foundation has been supporting programs to improve China-U.S relations through numerous and varied bilateral exchanges and dialogues. The Foundation also is organizing activities to foster China-U.S. cooperation for the benefit of other countries in the Asia Pacific region.
