Asia Foundation Tackles Governance Challenges in GovLab’s 100 Questions Initiative

December 16, 2020 — The Asia Foundation joins forces with the NYU Tandon’s GovLab, the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Indonesia, and the BRAC Institute of Governance and Development in Bangladesh to launch the Governance domain for the 100 Questions initiative. The partnership aspires to improve the legitimacy and effectiveness of governance through data science and collective data sources.

“COVID-19 has exposed multiple weaknesses in governance systems globally,” said Nicola Nixon, The Asia Foundation’s Director of Governance. “In order to build those systems back better, we need new forms of collaborative action to enable data and technology to be used to solve the most pressing of the myriad problems the pandemic has exposed.”
