Some of the most indelible images of the pandemic have been the brilliant skies that emerged from the smog as the world stayed home and fossil-fuel use plunged. In this edition of the InAsia Podcast, Anindya Uphadyay, senior technical consultant to The Asia Foundation’s Sustainable Development Investment Program in New Delhi, discusses the stark choice that the pandemic has revealed. With renewables now cheaper than coal, she says, we must summon the political will to build a green new normal.
