2020 Asia Foundation Development Fellows Extended to 2021

San Francisco, September 28, 2020 — The Asia Foundation’s 2020 Asia Foundation Development Fellows: Emerging Leadership for Asia’s Future program will be deferred until 2021, due to current travel restrictions and the public health landscape.

The Covid-19 global pandemic has disrupted lives across the globe, but the Foundation is pleased to announce that all Asia Foundation Development Fellows selected for the 2020 program year will be extended to 2021. The application period for the next class will open Summer/Fall 2021.

Across the region, a new generation of young leaders are creating positive impact, drawing from their experiences locally and globally. The fellows selected for the 2020-21 class are an accomplished group of emerging leaders from diverse cultures, country, and work environments, and the Foundation looks forward to supporting their advancement through programming in 2021.

The Development Fellows program is at the heart of The Asia Foundation’s mission, bringing exceptional individuals into a powerful network of emerging leaders working to improve lives across a dynamic and developing Asia.
