Apply for 2015 Asia Foundation Development Fellows Program

The Asia Foundation is now accepting applications for the “2015 Asia Foundation Development Fellows: Emerging Leadership for Asia’s Future program,” providing highly qualified, young changemakers from Asia with an opportunity to strengthen their leadership skills and gain in-depth knowledge of Asia’s critical development challenges. The year-long professional advancement program is designed to be a multifaceted experience, involving intensive learning modules – short courses, conferences, and study tours in Asia in Singapore and Nepal, and in the U.S. in San Francisco and Washington, D.C. – to enhance leadership skills, Asian development knowledge, professional networks, and international exposure. The program provides the flexibility for Fellows to design their own professional development component and to stay in their current occupations while participating in the program’s rigorous modules.

The application deadline, including two letters of recommendation, is Nov. 12, 2014. Last month, the Foundation hosted the “2014 Asia Foundation Development Forum: Challenges and Voices for Asia’s Future,” featuring the inaugural 2014 class of Fellows in San Francisco for an opportunity to learn from leading development practitioners and next-generation Asian leaders invested in the region’s social and economic development challenges.
