In September 2017, the Asia Foundation Development Fellows arrived in San Francisco and Washington, D.C. for a two-week leadership exchange program, including a Corporate Luncheon supported by Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. and discussions with Bay Area innovators including Wikimedia Foundation, City of San Francisco’s Chief Innovation Officer Jay Nath, Electronic Frontier Foundation, and the Stanford d.school. The program provides highly qualified, young professionals from Asia with an unparalleled opportunity to strengthen their leadership skills and gain in-depth knowledge of Asia’s critical development challenges.
