Asia Foundation President David Arnold Meets with Indonesian President Jokowi
On the heels of the Sunnylands Summit, Asia Foundation President David Arnold met with President Jokowi on Feb. 17 and discussed the Foundation’s recent board trip to Indonesia and visit with Jokowi’s protégé Jakarta Governor Ahok and his “smart city” innovations. In broader remarks to the US-ASEAN Business Council, President Jokowi discussed economic reforms in Indonesia and his efforts to open up Indonesia to greater foreign direct investments. Read more.
