The director for Finance in the Philippines is responsible for leading the development and implementation of a sound financial strategy in line with The Asia Foundation’s target financial outcomes and risk register. They are responsible for ensuring compliance across all regulatory and financial controls, building and maintaining a strong finance operations team, and maintaining good relationships with internal and external partners.

This position requires regular interaction with internal partners like senior management, Finance team, program directors, project chiefs of party, headquarters staff in San Francisco, and country offices counterparts; and external partners, namely: donors, partners/sub-awardees, external auditors, and vendors.

Qualifications: This is a senior management position. Interested applicants should be a Certified Public Accountant with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience in Financial Management, have a strong background in accounting, profit and loss management, balance sheet and cash flow management, and budget management. Familiarity with Philippine nongovernmental organizations, government agencies, USAID, and other international donor agency requirements and regulations is preferred.
