IT Infrastructure and Support Manager
The Asia Foundation is a nonprofit international development organization committed to improving lives and expanding opportunities across Asia and the Pacific. Informed by 70 years of experience and deep local knowledge, our work is focused on governance, climate action, gender equity, education and leadership, inclusive growth, and international cooperation. We work in more than 20 countries through our 17 permanent country offices and programs across Asia and the Pacific, supported by a headquarters in San Francisco and an office in Washington, DC. Our funding comes from a diverse array of bilateral and multilateral development agencies, foundations, corporations, and individuals.
The IT infrastructure and support manager (ITISM) is a highly visible and influential member of The Asia Foundation’s Global Information Services team. Working closely with and reporting directly to the IT director, the ITISM implements and supports enterprise standards for TAF US offices, on-premises, and cloud platforms. The ITISM will also provide system administration on enterprise solutions, including Microsoft 365, Azure, and others. This key job function is a hybrid work role and is expected to be on-premises sixty percent of the time, or averaging three days per week, and remote for the remainder. The role is based in San Francisco, with travel to the Washington D.C. office and travel to Asia periodically. The ITISM will often be the face of IT to hundreds of staff; they must be professional, knowledgeable, and confident in the role.
