Junior Associate, Leadership and Exchanges

Location: San Francisco
Program area: Leadership & Exchanges
Type: Junior Associate

The Asia Foundation is a nonprofit international development organization committed to improving lives and expanding opportunities across Asia and the Pacific. Informed by decades of experience and deep local expertise, our work across the region is focused on good governance, women’s empowerment and gender equality, inclusive economic growth, environment and climate action, and regional and international relations.

The Asia Foundation’s Leadership and Exchange Programs (LeadEx) support an extraordinary diversity of young and emerging Asian, Pacific Islander, and American professionals from across disciplines, working environments, cultures, and country contexts. LeadEx engages individuals with talent, character, and commitment, nurtures their professional development, and empowers their transformation into lasting agents of change, reform, and impact. We work with innovative leaders and communities to build effective institutions and advance path-breaking reforms.

LeadEx seeks a junior associate to support a variety of exchange programs, remotely and in the San Francisco Bay Area. During this 12-week program, the junior associate will support the Asia Foundation Development Fellows program, the startup of the 2030 Climate Champions program, and recruitment for several LeadEx programs. Finally, the junior associate will assist in the redesign of LeadEx’s web presence, update the alumni database and interact with alumni.
