Open Call for Qualified Consultants and/or Researchers ASEAN programs

The Asia Foundation’s Thailand Office is now implementing various programs to support ASEAN sectoral bodies, formal processes, and engagement with dialogue partners. The Foundation is currently seeking qualified experts and researchers at senior/mid-level to respond to program implementation needs. Opportunities may be short to long-term, as well as part-time or full-time.
Successful researchers/consultants should have experience and extensive knowledge of ASEAN, including experience working for, or engaging with the ASEAN Secretariat, ASEAN sectoral bodies, or other ASEAN-associated entities. In addition to technical skills, essential qualifications include: excellent written and spoken English; strong communication skills; ability to work independently as well as part of a team; be results-oriented; relevant graduate level education; and demonstrated cultural sensitivity. Ideal candidates will be based in an ASEAN member state, and willing to travel throughout Southeast Asia.

- Development cooperation and financing
- Regional security cooperation
- Cyber security
- Maritime security
- Women, peace and security
- ASEAN economic integration
- Results monitoring
