Subawards and Audit Officer, Philippines

The successful recruit will be responsible for assisting the Senior Sub-Awards and Audit officer in Sub-Awards Administration. S/he will perform due diligence procedures and financial monitoring of all grantees. S/he will draft monitoring reports for management and assists in conduct of Sub-Award Management Seminars. The successful candidate will assist the internal and external Auditors in audits.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • The successful candidate should have a minimum of five (5) years professional experience with three (3) years of which have been spent in Finance, Donor compliance and Sub-recipient monitoring experience in an international development organization. S/he should have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Financial Management, or related field. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred but not required.
  • The successful candidate should have strong analytical skills, problem solving skills and excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Candidates with demonstrated experience in conducting assessments and due diligence to possible partner organizations.
  • Knowledge of USAID, DFAT and other international donor agency requirements and regulations an advantage.
