Teacher and Administrator Curriculum for Remote Learning Modality

The Asia Foundation seeks a consultant to develop the curriculum to support three deliverables. The consultant will develop presentations and draft scripts that will be used to develop videos. These will be translated into the two national languages and reviewed by master trainers in Afghanistan for their feedback focused on ensuring the content is relevant in Afghanistan and culturally sensitive. The consultant will incorporate the feedback, finalize the presentation and related scripts and submit to the Foundation for a final translation and development of videos.

While the consultant will bring their expertise to this activity, examples of topics include but are not limited to developing a lesson plan, required teacher qualification for teaching science and math, techniques for making science and math teachings interactive and interesting, understanding the basics of an e-learning environment, infrastructure investment required by schools to support e-learning, time management for teachers and students, communication strategies for teachers to support students at home, and so on.

The duration of the consultancy will be 60 days.
