Democracy – Perspectives of Mongolian Citizens

The video “Democracy- Perspectives of Mongolian Citizens” has been prepared for Mongolia’s Presidency of the Community of Democracies (CD) on the occasion of the 7th Ministerial CDConference, which will take place from April 27-29, 2013 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Mongolia became a democratic country in 1990.The video shows a set of interviews conducted with Mongolians from different parts of the country on their perspectives on what democracy means for them, how democracy has developed since Mongolia’s democratic transition and what their views are on the community of democracies.  The video has been produced with the generous support of the Embassy of the United States and has been developed by The Asia Foundation in Mongolia.
