IndonesiaLandGovernanceReportIndonesia has the highest rate of forest cover loss in the world, a consequence of a many factors, including poor forest and land governance which results in illegal and unplanned forest conversion and degradation, unnecessary damage to sensitive landscapes, increased risk of natural disasters, and other negative social and economic impacts.
