New Working Paper on Public Land Disputes in Vietnam

 paperAustralia’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and The Asia Foundation just released the second in a Working Paper series, Public Land Disputes in Vietnam: A Multi-Actor Analysis of Five Case Studies with an East Asian Comparative. Public land-taking disputes in Vietnam are on the rise, pitting citizens against business and government in a growing threat to social stability. This paper examines how disputes can be better mitigated and resolved. The Working Paper series is a new collaboration between DFAT and the Foundation aimed at supporting program and policy innovation in the Asia-Pacific. Read about the full research effort.
