Criminal Law Specialist, Public Prosecutor, Indonesia



Apsari Dewi is a specialist in Indonesian and International Criminal Law with nearly 15 years of experience working as a public prosecutor and for the Attorney General’s Office of the Republic of Indonesia. Through this work, she has prosecuted general crimes, terrorism crimes, and transnational crimes. She helped to establish the Asset-Recovery Interagency Network, Asia Pacific, a platform for law enforcement officials to cooperate in recovering criminals’ assets. In 2012, she received formal recognition from the president of Indonesia for her 10 years of service as a public prosecutor. Apsari is currently a doctoral candidate at The University of Melbourne, Australia, and will submit her thesis on International Extradition in March 2018. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Law from Udayana University, Bali and a master’s degree in Law from the University of Melbourne.
