Collins Santhanasamy is a medical doctor and the founder of the M Exchange, a pilot project that works with vulnerable communities by hosting free medical camps and building sustainable schools. Since 2013, the M Exchange has treated over 3,700 patients through mobile clinics in low income areas, of which 60% were women and children. Collins is also serving as a country director for Magical Light Foundation and is an associate fellow of the Royal Commonwealth Society. Coming from an interdisciplinary background, Collins has volunteered in countries across Asia including Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand. He is passionate about empowering communities through the development of innovative healthcare solutions that contribute to building community resilience.
