Laurette Slawson Hartigan is a strategic finance executive currently advising and investing in Silicon Valley startups in new media, health tech, cleantech, and fintech. Most recently, Laurette served as CFO in a successful leveraged buyout of a global communications mobile app company. Prior to that, Laurette was CFO of Fandor, a streaming media company, and financial advisor to Vida Health, a mobile app providing personalized health coaching.
Laurette lived for seven years in Shanghai and represented Angeleno Group, a cleantech private equity fund, as its China Venture partner. Laurette served as vice president, treasurer & Investor Relations for Flextronics International, where she built a global treasury team across four continents and raised billions of dollars in financing. While at Montgomery Securities and Chase Manhattan Bank, Laurette advised clients in financing, M&A and corporate finance as well as worked in internal audit.
Laurette holds a master’s degree in Business Administration from Harvard Business School, a bachelor’s degree in International Political Economics and a minor in French from UC Berkeley. She also studied Chinese at Jiaotong University and Donghua University.
