Social Entrepreneur, Vietnam
Nga Le was the deputy group CEO of XLE Group, a sports industry company she helped set up 10 years ago. Nga developed and led pioneering projects such as the Saigon Heat, the Vietnam Basketball Association (VBA), and the Junior NBA. In 2018, she was appointed as Acting CEO of the VBA, the first professional basketball league in Vietnam. In 2015, Nga was the first Vietnamese to be selected for the Global Sports Mentorship Program sponsored by ESPN and the US State Department. This inspired her to launch her own social enterprise, She Will Be Strong, to empower Vietnamese women. Nga was one of the 20 delegates of the Australia Vietnam Young Leadership Dialogue in 2017 and was also selected as one of the women on Campaign Asia’s list of 40 Women to Watch in Asia in 2017.
