Norhudayati Mustapha

Director, Finance and Grants, Malaysia

Norhudayati Mustapha serves as director for Finance and Grants for The Asia Foundation in Malaysia, where her primary responsibility is ensuring accountable financial and grants management functions in the Malaysia office across all projects (local, multi-country, and regional), including the development, implementation, and enforcement of required financial management policies and procedures.

Other duties include monitoring continuous compliance of expenditures within the approved budget, overseeing donor-funded budgets, and budget control related to program and office operations. She manages the submission of financial reporting to headquarters and donors and offers essential guidance to Foundation staff regarding financial management, organization sub-awards policies and procedures as well as grants management for the Malaysia office.

She has over 20 years of experience in the accounts, finance, administration, and audit field. Prior to joining the Asia Foundation in Malaysia, she served as head of Accounts and Finance at ProtectHealth Corporation Sdn Bhd, a company established under the Ministry of Health in Malaysia.

Education: She holds a master’s degree in Business Administration (Strategic Management) from the University Technology of Malaysia.
