Former Program Manager, Cambodia

Reasmey previously worked as a program manager for the Digital Workforce Development program funded by USAID. The program aims to strengthen and support Cambodian youth with the skills, training, and qualifications required to contribute and succeed in a modern digital economy. The program also provides scholarship, internship, and networking opportunities to support practical skill-building and linkages to job opportunities. Reasmey works on program design and implementation, project coordination with relevant stakeholders, monitoring, evaluation, and learning, as well as coordinating program reporting. He is also involved in leading and designing activities for the YSEALI summit in Cambodia in December 2022.

Reasmey has a decade of experience working with NGOs and private organizations in Cambodia and Australia. He has managed projects, programs, and operations, and has been involved in strategic leadership roles at organizations such as SeeBeyondBorders International, Weidmueller, Maddox Jolie Pitt Foundation, and Quaker Service Australia. He is skilled in programming related to economics and community development, business and start-ups, education and scholarships, women empowerment, research, and energy. He has deep experience as an independent consultant for business start-ups and social enterprises and as a trainer, mentor, and lecturer for public schools and several universities in Cambodia, including Pannasastra International School and University and Limkokwing University.

Education: Reasmey holds a master’s degree in Project Management, specializing in Organizational Project Management, Risk and Strategic Management, from the University of Sydney, Australia, and a master’s degree in Economics, specializing in Rural Development, from Build Bright University, Cambodia.
